Principal Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financial accounts, forecasts, and management reports
- Processing salary payments
- Year-end account reconciliations and closing preparations
- Creation of annual budgets and key performance indicators
- Submission of tax and other statutory returns
- Team leadership, ensuring motivation, clear communication, and alignment with the division’s and company’s directors.
Essential Skills and Experience
Applicants must demonstrate:
- A chartered accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, etc.) with at least seven years of full-time post-qualification experience in a financial accountancy or similar role.
- Strong experience in budget management within a regional, national, or international corporate environment.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, numeracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, along with sound interpersonal, motivational, and presentation skills.
- A proven track record of teamwork and achieving tangible results.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Stability, evidenced by no more than three employers in the preceding six years.
