We’re looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Financial Accountant to join a high-performing UK finance team within a leading real estate investment business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take genuine ownership of a portfolio of assets and entities, while working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, asset management, development, legal and tax teams.
The Role You will take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of UK properties and related entities, becoming a key point of contact for accounting, reporting and commercial finance matters. Responsibilities will include:

Managing the accounting and finance activities for a portfolio of properties and holding entities Monthly close, forecasting, budgeting and business planning Preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance reporting, including VAT returns Delivering insightful financial analysis and tracking performance against business plans Supporting asset managers with commercial finance and decision support Contributing to group consolidation and quarterly management reporting Coordinating with offshore service providers where applicable Supporting reporting requirements for joint venture partners Managing external audits from planning through completion Building strong relationships across finance, development, tax, legal and operational teams

About You We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
You will ideally have: ACA or ACCA qualification Approximately 2–3 years’ post-qualified experience Strong financial and statutory reporting experience Excellent attention to detail and ownership mentality Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills The ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly and effectively Real estate sector experience preferred
