Financial Accountant - Global Consumer
£250 - £350 Day Rate PAYE
Start ASAP 5 Mths Contract with potential of extension

We are partnering with a globally recognised, market-leading business to recruit highly experienced Financial Accountants into a high-performing and collaborative finance team to support the wider teams during a very busy period. This role would suit someone who enjoys pace, complexity and working within a large organisation where accuracy, ownership and strong technical accounting capability are key.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the month-end close process and financial reporting activities
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Managing and reconciling complex balance sheet areas
- Supporting audit requirements and stakeholder queries
- Working across a high-volume, fast-paced finance environment
- Supporting accounting requirements including IFRS 16
- Partnering with wider finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance
What we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience gained within a large, complex organisation - Essential
- Strong technical accounting experience, including month-end and statutory reporting
- Comfortable working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to audit (practice or industry)
- US GAAP knowledge would be highly advantageous
- Build relationships quickly with the wider teams
