About the Role
This temporary Financial Accountant role in Surrey offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The position focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while contributing to key business objectives.

Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights.
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
