Financial Accountant
Senior Financial Accountant – Birmingham-Based Pharmaceutical Manufacturer (Permanent)
We are currently partnering with a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Birmingham, seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Role Summary
A full-time, office-based position offering a salary of £50,000–£60,000 (start date subject to notice). Open to qualified accountants with post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing monthly management financial reports, including forecasts
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Cash flow management (bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting)
- Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow-ups for resolution
- Identifying, developing, and implementing process and system improvements for efficiency and compliance
- Overseeing stock takes and reconciling book stock to physical stock counts
- Leading month-end procedures and financial closing
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Supporting external audits

Working Arrangements
- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
