We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global entertainment business that is continuing to grow and invest in its finance function. This Financial Accountant role is an opportunity to join a high-performing international reporting team where you'll gain exposure to complex accounting, work closely with colleagues across Europe, and develop your career within a business renowned for promoting from within.

The Opportunity

Working within the head office finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting finance teams across multiple international markets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning head office accounting for central costs, including budgets, forecasts and actual reporting
  • Reviewing monthly reporting submissions from international entities
  • Reviewing balance sheets and ensuring appropriate technical accounting treatment
  • Preparing reporting packs for the global parent company
  • Supporting audit, tax and internal control requirements
  • Managing intercompany recharges and transfer pricing allocations
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
  • Providing guidance and support to finance teams across Europe
  • Contributing to finance projects and continuous process improvements

About You

You'll be a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to continue developing your career within an international business. You'll bring:

  • A recent ACA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Experience in audit, financial reporting or technical accounting
  • Strong Excel skills and excellent analytical ability
  • The confidence to communicate with stakeholders across multiple countries
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience of US GAAP, SOX or reporting within a multinational group would be beneficial, but is by no means essential.
