Accountant
£40,000 - £45,000 | Permanent | Full Time | Hybrid Working (1 Day per Week in the Office)
About the Role
Looking for a role where you can grow with the business? This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified to finalist-level accountant to join a rapidly growing, private equity-backed software business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey.
As the business continues to scale through organic growth and acquisitions, we're creating a brand-new role within the Group Finance team. This position offers the chance to take real ownership, gain exposure to international operations, and play a key role in shaping finance processes as the business invests in growth, technology, and automation.
If you're ambitious, systems-minded, commercially aware, and eager to accelerate your career in a high-growth environment, this could be the perfect next step.
The Opportunity
Sitting at the heart of the Group Finance function, you'll take ownership of the accounting for a portfolio of overseas entities, playing a key role in monthly reporting, statutory compliance, and financial control.
This is far more than a traditional management accounting role. You'll gain hands-on involvement in process improvement initiatives, acquisition integrations, and finance transformation projects, while developing alongside a business that's going places.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
