About the Role
A large, multi-entity finance function is seeking a qualified accountant to join an external reporting team. The role spans complex group structures with extensive scale and international scope.
This is not a standard financial accounting role. Responsibilities include:
- Group consolidation
- Balance sheet governance
- Monthly reporting submissions
- External reporting demands
- Direct collaboration with senior stakeholders across finance, treasury, and legal
The role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where process improvement and automation are integral.

What the Role Involves
- Monthly and quarterly reporting submission in alignment with group accounting policy
- Balance sheet analysis, governance, and assurance across accounting procedures
- Preparation of financial information for both external and internal reporting
- Liaising with auditors alongside critical interaction with finance stakeholders (including treasury and legal)
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and automating existing workflows

What We're Looking For
- Qualification: Chartered status preferred (either ACA or ACCA)
- Technical skills: Strong capabilities in Excel
- Soft skills: Confidence in managing upward stakeholder engagement
