Description
The Financial Accountant's responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts and management reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
- Conduct the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
- Ensure tax and VAT compliance.
- Improve financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Profile
A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have
- A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualifications or working towards obtaining one.
- Experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
