Description

The Financial Accountant's responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts and management reports.
  • Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Conduct the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
  • Ensure tax and VAT compliance.
  • Improve financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Profile

A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have

  • A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualifications or working towards obtaining one.
  • Experience in accounting or a similar role.
