Financial Administrator (Sheffield Office)
About the Role
We are seeking a Finacial Administrator to join our Sheffield Office. This is a core and varied role where you will provide high-quality administrative support to the team, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, product providers, and general office enquiries related to pensions, investments, and protection.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Handling client correspondence, both written and verbal.
- Processing new business and managing client onboarding.
- Preparing client review packs and managing client meetings, including coordinating the Adviser’s diary.
- Handling illustration requests.
- Ensuring all financial planning client administration is compliant and recorded accurately in our systems.
- Maintaining client records in our software, ensuring they are well-organised, accurate, and up to date.
- Responding to phone calls, enquiries, and requests, escalating where necessary.
- Providing back-office support and assisting with general office administration.
- Acting as a professional advocate for the company when representing it to third parties.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Essential Experience
- Proven experience working in a Financial Planning firm.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to represent the company professionally and maintain a friendly, motivated, and professional demeanour.
Key Skills & Competencies
You will be skilled in (or able to quickly Learn) the following:
- Knowledge ofwealth Management platforms like IO and Platform.
- Excellence in business correspondence, including proofreading for accuracy in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Confidence in IT and office software, including:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- Teams
- Workload management, prioritisation, and multitasking.
- Advanced planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility/Adaptability to manage change effectively.
- Strong communication skills that work across all levels (internal/external).
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

Location & Working Hours
- Office: Perspective (Campbell Harrison), Sheffield
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with one one-hour break (35-hour workweek).
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications (available upon request).
