Job Title: Financial Adviser
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Basic + 50%+ Bonus Scheme
Location: Littlehampton / London & Southeast (Hybrid Working)
About our clients and the role:
Swarm Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an established and highly respected wealth management business that has built its reputation on long-term client relationships, trust, integrity, and professional excellence.
The business provides high-quality financial planning and wealth management advice to clients across a range of areas, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships and delivering a genuinely personal service. They are now looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Adviser, to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be provided with a portfolio of approximately 300 clients based across London and the South East. You will be responsible for servicing these clients, building strong long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the client bank through new business and referrals.
You will be fully supported by an experienced paraplanning and administration team, with access to high-end technology and the resources required to focus on delivering excellent financial advice and developing your client relationships.
This role would suit an experienced Financial Adviser, or someone who has previously worked in another regulated advisory environment such as mortgages, or a Paraplanner who has completed their Level 4 Diploma and is ready to make the move into advice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
