A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Adviser to to take over an established existing book of business in our Glasgow office. Purpose of the job: To help build strong relationships with and grow the revenue from Foster Denovo’s clients in addition to generating new leads and appointments from referrals. To be a trusted financial adviser to some of Foster Denovo’s clients. This involves gaining an in-depth understanding of the client’s financial situation, their immediate needs and life goals and working with the paraplanning team to put together financial plans and advice solutions to help clients achieve their goals. To recommend, where appropriate, and deliver an outstanding review service to clients to ensure that their financial planning continues to meet their needs taking into account any changes to their circumstances, or changes in economy or legislation. Job summary: · Act as a trusted Investment Adviser under the Approved Persons Certification regime in accordance with Foster Denovo’s procedures and FSA rules and guidance · Ensure all active clients have their annual review meetings which is fully documented · Conduct and follow the Foster Denovo Financial Advice process following all service standards, processes and procedures. · Use cash flow tools, where appropriate, to bring the clients financial situation to life demonstrating the impact and benefit of your advice. · Work with the paraplanning and Client Experience Administration team to deliver an outstanding advice and service proposition to clients. · Build relationships with prospective clients for future business purposes with a view to converting prospects into clients · Manage and strengthen relationships with introducers and their staff where applicable · Ensure all clients files are maintained to Foster Denovo compliance standards · Generate new opportunities from client banks or other lead sources · Relationship building Key skills and personal attributes: · Personable and able to use initiative · Understand the goals and aspirations of clients · Understand the ethos, values and Strategy of Foster Denovo · Team player · Self-starter · Energetic in approach About us Foster Denovo currently boast over 120 Financial Advisers supported by around 300 employees across eight Foster Denovo offices throughout the UK.
