Financial Advisor

Location: Remote with client visits | Ideally based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary: £50,000 basic + up to 25% bonus on IAF

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join our growing wealth management business and take responsibility for an established and mature client bank.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality financial planning advice. You will inherit an existing portfolio of clients while also having the drive and ambition to develop the client bank, identify new opportunities and help grow assets under management.

The role is primarily home-based, with regular client meetings conducted remotely and face-to-face across the region as required.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to an existing portfolio of clients.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and develop the existing client bank.
  • Deliver advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection.
  • Prepare and present suitable financial planning recommendations.
  • Work closely with paraplanning and administration teams to ensure excellent client outcomes.
  • Develop referral opportunities and support wider business growth initiatives.

About you

  • Diploma qualified (Level 4) as a minimum.
  • Experienced Financial Adviser with a proven track record of managing and developing client relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ambition to grow an established client bank.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development, with aspirations
