What You’ll Do
Develop Trusted Client Relationships
- Serve as a financial partner, guiding clients through short- and long-term goals.
- Proactively engage clients to deepen holistic financial planning and wealth management.
- Collaborate with SmartBank associates to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Deliver Personalized Wealth Management Solutions
- Assess financial needs, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and life-stage goals.
- Provide customized advice across:
- Investments
- Retirement planning
- Education funding
- Estate and wealth transfer strategies
- Insurance solutions
- Execute client trades and service requests with precision and compliance.
Drive Business Growth
- Expand referrals through networking, community involvement, and client referrals.
- Leverage SmartBank’s full-service banking (retail, lending, treasury, commercial) to uncover upsell opportunities.
- Grow a book of business based on high-touch, client-centric service.

Ensure Operational & Regulatory Excellence
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Strictly comply with Raymond James, SmartBank policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay knowledgeable on market trends and economic changes to provide informed guidance.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Financial services
- Wealth management
- Relationship banking
- Sales, consultative or otherwise
- Proven ability to:
- Build and grow client relationships
- Achieve business growth through referrals and network expansion
Licensing (Mandatory)
All registered applicants must obtain and maintain:
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Registration
- Series 7 License
- Series 66 (General Securities Representative) or equivalent
- Life, Health & Variable Annuity License
