The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for you to join our growing team at Foresters Financial as a Field Based Financial Advisor, covering the Scotland region. This opportunity is home based, travel to clients' homes will be expected.

Utilising your exceptional sales experience, you will help families and individuals reach their financial goals. You will be responsible for a customer database in your area, which you will build. Mainly dealing with warm leads or existing clients, this is a targeted role. You will have a minimum of 4 customer appointments per day either face to face or via MS Teams, which you are responsible for organising and scheduling your own appointments.

We are looking for individuals who have strong customer-focused skills and the desire to achieve goals. You must also be comfortable with study and exams.

  • Understanding of the financial services and products we provide.
  • Motivated by goals and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Professional approach.
  • Comfortable working towards targets and goals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Working knowledge of MS Teams, Outlook, and Excel and Word.

What we offer you

  • £28,842 basic salary (then on a tiered basis up to £41,200 basic).
  • Uncapped earning potential (OTE for first year up to £45,000).
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (opportunity to purchase more days).
  • 3 weeks initial training then following ongoing studying to achieve CF1.
  • Pension scheme (we match up to 5% and pay in an additional 5%).

Working hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday, although there is flexibility needed. You manage your own diary and appointments.

The start date for this role is 7th September. You must be available for the first 3 weeks for training in person, based in Essex, travel, accommodation, and food is paid for.

You will also have an exam to complete after 5 months. Our referencing process will include 6 years' references and financial and criminal record checks. Should you have owned your own company before, this must be declared.
