Finance Analyst
Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 3 days office based)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + benefits
We are working with a well-established and growing consumer-led organisation seeking a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join its finance team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst or management accountant looking to broaden their experience beyond month-end reporting and gain exposure to commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering activities.
Working within a small, high-performing finance team, you'll have visibility across the entire business and play a key role in delivering meaningful insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of monthly management reporting processes
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
- Producing commercial and operational analysis
- Preparing performance packs for senior stakeholders
- Investigating trends, risks, and opportunities within financial and operational data
- Supporting the development of new reporting tools and dashboards
- Working closely with stakeholders across a range of business functions
- Assisting with month-end close activities, journals, and balance sheet reviews
- Supporting continuous improvement projects across finance and reporting

You could be a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Assistant Finance Business Partner, or an ambitious individual seeking your next step.

We're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
- Confidence working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Curiosity and a desire to understand the commercial drivers of performance
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude
- Experience within the industry, although candidates making a first move from practice will also be considered
- Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA candidates are encouraged to apply
