About the Client

Our client is a UK-based company specializing in payment processing solutions. They provide card acquiring services, enabling businesses to accept payments both online and in-store. Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of transaction processes. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge financial technologies and contribute to a high-impact, scaling fintech company. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with international teams and financial institutions, enhancing your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily transaction reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare settlement statements and make necessary corrections and adjustments.
  • Monitor discrepancies, investigate variances, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
  • Generate and present financial reports and insights for management.
  • Collaborate with payment processors, banks, and crypto exchanges to support settlement operations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures and controls.
  • Support financial forecasting and data analysis related to settlement activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in settlement operations, reconciliation, finance operations, or a similar role within fintech, payments, banking, or crypto.
  • Strong understanding of transaction reconciliation, settlement flows, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Experience working with payment processors, banks, and/or crypto exchanges.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and investigate variances.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, analysing, and reconciling transactional data.
  • Experience working with Power BI (or similar BI tools) to build reports and dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and financial data analysis.
  • Languages: English, Russian.
  • Experience in fintech.
