Financial Analyst | Global Music Technology Business | London/Hybrid
Our client is a well-established, globally recognised music technology business with a passionate customer base and a brilliant culture at the intersection of music and tech. The business is in an exciting phase of growth and investment, and the London-based finance team is expanding to match. This is a newly created role offering genuine breadth and exposure from day one.
The Role
This is a junior FP&A position for someone with at least 1-2 years of finance experience who wants to specialise in financial planning and analysis. You will work directly alongside the Head of FP&A and gain regular exposure to the CEO and senior leadership team, supporting forecasting, budgeting, and board-level reporting across the business.
This is a pure FP&A role rather than an accounting one. There is a separate accounting team handling transactional finance, meaning your focus will be on analysis, planning, and commercial insight rather than systems and processing. There is also a potential for exposure to corporate finance and corporate development projects as the business continues to grow, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious to build a genuinely strategic skill set early in their career.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
