Join Amazon MGM Studios as we expand our theatrical distribution globally. We're building a best-in-class finance organization from the ground up to support international theatrical operations. This is an opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a new operation while working with content that reaches millions of viewers worldwide.
As a Financial Analyst, you'll be part of Amazon MGM's theatrical expansion, partnering directly with distribution and marketing teams to support the financial operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as in-territory point of contact for Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay support, coordinating across Distribution, Marketing and FinOps teams
- Support AR FinOps on monitoring accounts receivable performance, identifying variances and trends, and providing territory-specific insights on booking history, exhibitor relationships, and territory dynamics
- Support Distribution/Sales team on theater setup in DEX system and manual entry of Box Office Reports when automated feeds are unavailable
- Maintain data integrity between DEX booking system and downstream financial systems; coordinate with AR FinOps Cash Application team on payment discrepancies
- Monitor exhibitor accounts for credit issues and financial risk indicators; escalate concerns to Distribution and Finance stakeholders
- Support month-end close activities and reconciliation processes
- Provide training on Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes to local teams, including documentation and knowledge transfer materials

About The Team
You'll join Amazon MGM Studios' International Theatrical Finance team, building the financial infrastructure for our global theatrical expansion. Our team is focused on bringing innovation with the resources and scale of Amazon, creating an environment where your contributions directly impact how audiences worldwide experience our content.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Experience in finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger
- Experience with MS Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce) and other systems
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
