About the Role

Boralex has provided renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. As part of a >800-strong team, the company operates over 3 GW of renewable assets and is developing a 6.8 GW portfolio in wind, solar, and energy storage.

🚀 You Will Play an Important Role In

Reporting to the Financing Manager, you’ll support the modelling and structuring of financing operations for wind and solar projects in the United Kingdom. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Financing department with operational modelling and project structuring—including preparing data rooms and participating in Q&A processes before financial close.
  • Creating and maintaining financial models to evaluate the profitability of UK wind and solar development opportunities.
  • Analysing profitability drivers, performing sensitivity analysis, and proposing optimisations.
  • Producing presentations and financial documentation for investment committees and internal decision-makers.
  • Monitoring approved project profitability, identifying deviations or improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating in internal working groups to refine financial analysis tools and processes.
  • Working across teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data.
  • Contributing to drafting/reviewing reports on project financials, risk assessments, and investment recommendations.
  • Ensuring quality and completeness of financial information for audits, due diligence, and internal reviews.
  • Participating actively in meetings on financing, structuring, and project performance.
