Finance Analyst
Our high growth, AIM-listed client in the energy and renewable services industry is looking for a new Finance Analyst to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting position for a fast-paced buy and build company, reporting into the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, business initiatives, and future scenarios.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with finance teams across the wider business to deliver accurate and meaningful forecasts.
- Prepare management reports and performance analysis, providing clear recommendations based on financial and market data.
- Assist with investor and market communications by supporting the preparation of financial information and analysis for external stakeholders.
- Support year-end audit activities, including going concern assessments, scenario modelling, and other financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders and stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality financial insight and commercial support.

- Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
