The Financial Analyst Role

Description

  • Analyse financial performance and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Evaluate key financial metrics and provide recommendations for cost optimisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
  • Monitor and report on variances between actuals and forecasts.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Profile

A Successful Financial Analyst Should Have

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Financial Services
  • Studying towards ACCA qualification
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
