Financial Analyst
We have an opportunity to join Inizio Engage XD's Finance team as a Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid working opportunity connected to our collaborative and creative offices located directly off of Deansgate, Manchester. Reporting to our Finance Business Partner, you will be an essential contributor to our business's financial analysis, performance insights, profitability reporting, and forecasting - supporting our Finance Business Partnering Teams.
You will work closely with Finance Business Partners, Senior Finance Business Partners, Divisional FP&A, and Global Finance Services. Together, you will transform financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support commercial decision-making, forecasting, planning, and business performance improvement.
What you'll be doing
Financial Analysis & Performance Reporting
- Prepare financial analysis and performance reporting for agencies, business units, and client portfolios
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reporting
- Monitor revenue, utilisation, margin, and cost performance
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial information and reporting outputs
Forecasting & Planning Support
- Support forecasting for revenue, margin, utilisation, and resource planning
- Assist Finance Business Partners with business reviews, budgets, and forecasts
- Support business cases, investment evaluations, and scenario modelling

- Investigate financial variances and identify root causes
- Analyse client, project, and business-unit profitability
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance
Continuous Improvement
- Improve reporting, analysis, and planning processes
- Support better use of financial models and reporting tools
What you'll need
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6 years' experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial modelling, and data analysis
- Experience within professional services, consulting, or project-based environments is desirable
Financial Analysis & Technical Expertise
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting platforms; Power BI or Tableau experience is advantageous
- A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
Problem Solving & Innovation
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and recommend actions
- Continuous improvement mindset focused on reporting quality and business insight
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Confidence in communicating and presenting to stakeholders of all levels
- Ability to explain financial information clearly and create relationships across Finance and the business
- Comfortability working in a matrix environment
