This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) to gain valuable experience across both Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting & Corporate Reporting within a dynamic international business. The role offers exposure to a broad range of financial activities, supporting international operations across multiple territories. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a keen interest in developing a career in finance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models for consolidating, forecasting and analysing the performance of international business units.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for international operations.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Accounting & Corporate Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, for international holding entities, including the recording of journal entries and ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items and perform related financial analysis.
- Support the group consolidation process, including the review of intercompany balances, investigation of mismatches and resolution of reconciliation differences across group entities.
- Assist with the annual audit process and other statutory reporting requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the international finance teams and other departments to gather data and provide financial support.
- Develop trusting relationships and communicate effectively with team members across different countries, cultures and time zones.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) actively pursuing qualification.
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, FP&A or a related role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills (supporting dual reporting line).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience within the media industry is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; financial modelling experience would be advantageous.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Power BI would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
