Your new role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience of Adult Social Care services, charging framework, and welfare benefits to develop a specialist career in a role that combines technical expertise, client engagement, and meaningful impact.

The role is key in supporting adults who have been assessed to contribute to the costs of their care and support services and advise them to ensure they maximize their financial wellbeing. Tailored to the client you will deliver high-quality financial assessments and welfare benefits advice for Adult Social Care clients in line with the Care Act 2014 and local charging policies. You will be visiting clients and their representatives in the comfort of their home or chosen location, applying your technical expertise to ensure accurate charging decisions.

This will involve undertaking a comprehensive analysis of their financial circumstances, to determine contributions towards care costs in line with statutory guidance and local policy. You will provide specialist welfare benefits advice, ensuring clients and carers receive their full statutory entitlements and support income maximization. You will identify eligibility for benefits and support applications where appropriate whilst explaining complex financial decisions clearly, including assessed charges, deferred payment arrangements, etc.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
