Financial Assistant
Finance Assistant | Thames Ditton
At Keltbray, a leading UK specialist engineering and construction business, we deliver complex infrastructure and built environment projects across the UK.
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Thames Ditton. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone eager to forge a long-term career in finance while gaining valuable exposure to accounting and business activities.
Operating alongside skilled finance professionals, you'll contribute to the daily operations of our finance function and progressively build your expertise in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing invoices and supporting accounts payable activities
- Assisting with reconciliations and month-end processes
- Supporting cash allocations and financial record-keeping
- Maintaining accurate financial data and documentation
- Assisting with reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to resolve finance queries
- Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes

Requirements
- Prior experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and excellent Organisational skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Advancement or intent to pursue an AAT qualification would be advantageous
