Up to £38,000 + Study Support
Luton (Hybrid)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a growing and well-established business based in Luton.

This opportunity would suit:

  • Someone with a minimum of 1 year's experience in an accounts or finance role
  • A recent graduate looking to kick-start their career in finance and accountancy
  • An AAT studier seeking practical experience alongside their studies

  • Raising and reconciling customer invoices, rebates, and funding agreements
  • Supporting commercial debt collection activities and managing aged debt
  • Working closely with Commercial Finance and Commercial teams to resolve invoice queries
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders across the business
  • Maintaining accurate data across ERP and finance systems
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of a new rebate management system
  • Assisting with ad hoc reporting and analysis for the Commercial Finance team

What we're looking for:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • Previous credit control experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • A desire to develop a long-term career within finance
