Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $15–$40/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Specialist to work on a contract basis to manage financial records, reconcile transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will support daily financial operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain transparent and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and compliant manner
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes (journal entries, reconciliations, and reconciliations)
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements
- Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards (preferred)
