Financial Audit Services Request for Proposals
The City of Hudsonville issues this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified, licensed and insured Certified Public Accountants for the provision of specific financial audit services. The City intends to enter into a three-year contract, with the possibility of two one-year extensions, with the chosen firm in order to obtain an opinion on the fairness of the City’s presentation of its basic financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. In the event of a merger of the audit firm with another firm or certified public accountants or the change of partners to the audit firm, this contract will be transferable to the successor firm with the approval of the City. A separate Single Audit engagement may or may not be needed in each of the years under consideration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
