Financial Consultant – Skipton & Settle (Permanent Full-Time Role)

Hours: This is a permanent, full-time position working 36 regular hours per week to support branch operating hours.

Salary: £30,400 per annum.

Closing Date: Tuesday, 14 July 2026

Are You Passionate About Helping Others?

If you thrive on providing exceptional customer service and believe in proactive relationships that drive positive outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. We’re recruiting for a Financial Consultant in our Skipton & Settle branches.

About the Role

Our Customer Service Advisor (financial specialist) plays a vital role in shaping our customers’ financial futures through meaningful, one-to-one interactions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll guide customers through financial reviews to help them identify the best products and solutions, ensuring their needs remain at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll work across in-branch, virtual and telephone channels—connecting with customers where and when they prefer—whilst championing financial advice visibility and fostering a culture of shared success.

Our branches are the cornerstones of our community, and flexibility is key in how we serve our customers. Whether you’re promoting our obligation-free financial reviews or resolving inquiries, your passion for exceptional service will be the bridge to building long-term trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Financial Advisers to conduct ‘My Review’ appointments, updating existing customers on products and identifying non-advised opportunities.

    • (Introduction without advice, prompting possibilities and encouraging relationship building.)
  • Evaluate products overall and proactively sell financial advice where it better supports customers (e.g., mortgage planning, savings goals, investments etc.)

  • Build and maintain relationships by making outbound calls to reconnect with current members about advice, savings accounts, loans and mortgage support.

  • Enhance member engagement whilst aligning with our branch’s broader objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
