Role Purpose We are currently recruiting Financial Consultants to join our Financial Wellbeing Team, supporting our public sector clients. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, helping them make informed decisions about their financial future. You’ll provide tailored advice, identify opportunities to support their wellbeing, and recommend appropriate financial solutions. This is a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where success is supported through training, coaching and teamwork. All Financial Consultants receive 8 weeks of comprehensive training before starting the role. While QFA status (or working towards it) is desirable, we are committed to supporting you—full educational support is provided for those who wish to gain this qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing Supporting clients via Microsoft Teams to explore and choose financial protection options, including salary protection, life cover, pensions and tax-related services Delivering a consistently high level of customer service, ensuring every interaction is positive and supportive Carrying out financial wellbeing reviews to understand clients’ needs, priorities and long-term goals Working towards individual and team targets, with support and guidance from your manager Responding to client enquiries and leads in a timely, professional and approachable way Building long-term relationships by providing a personalised and trusted service Supporting the retention of existing clients by maintaining strong engagement and service levels Ensuring all work is carried out in line with regulatory and compliance requirements Staying informed on industry developments and products to best support clients

Skills & Experience We value a range of experiences and encourage applications even if you don’t meet every requirement. APA, QFA or a willingness to work towards these qualifications (fully supported) Experience in customer-facing roles (sales experience is helpful but not essential) Experience within a financial services environment is an advantage Strong communication and relationship-building skills Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers Ability to manage your time effectively and balance priorities Comfortable working towards goals in a supportive team environment Commitment to working within regulatory and compliance frameworks
