About the Role
Fauna & Flora (F&F) is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to have overall responsibility for the day-to-day accounting function of F&F to ensure the department delivers a high standard of service to the global organisation, and operates in accordance with established accounting principles and industry best practice. As well as leading the preparation of the organisation’s annual statutory accounts, this role will also be responsible for managing the annual external audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Have an excellent technical understanding of current UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Charity SORP
- Prepare statutory accounts and lead schedules
- Manage external audits
- Build effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation

Skills and Experience
- CCAB qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience in preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer focus
Working Environment
- Dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable managing a variety of concurrent tasks
- Enjoy researching technical financial guidance and documenting findings
