Financial Controller
£70k–£85k + benefits London Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Our client is a high-growth, PE-backed renewables business playing a key role in accelerating the UK’s transition to cleaner energy.
The Financial Controller will oversee technical accounting, compliance, and financial control across a multi-entity, asset-heavy group.
The Financial Controller will:
– Own monthly management accounts and tighten the month-end close cycle – Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102 and coordinate year-end audits – Oversee corporate tax filings and liaise with external advisers – Ensure accuracy of intercompany reconciliations and group reporting – Strengthen internal controls and support finance system improvements

You Will Need:
– ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and strong hands-on technical accounting skills – Proven experience across statutory reporting, tax, and intercompany balances – Confidence working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment – A proactive mindset; someone who can spot issues and take ownership quickly – Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
