Financial Controller | Facilities and Property Services | Central London (Hybrid Working) | £100-120,000 | Permanent Role

Robert Half is partnering with a leading Facilities and property services organisation to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a newly created role driven by the continued growth and evolution of the Group Finance function.

This is a senior, high-profile position within the Central London-based team, reporting directly to the CFO and responsible for Group consolidation, technical accounting, and external reporting. The business is highly acquisitive, having completed numerous deals across Europe, and this role offers significant exposure to M&A, integration projects, and senior stakeholders across the Group. You will ensure the integrity of Group financial information and play a key part in shaping financial processes and reporting as the organisation continues its ambitious growth journey.

About the Role

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end Group consolidation process across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Prepare IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Act as IFRS subject-matter expert, drafting and embedding accounting policies across the Group.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex issues, including business combinations, revenue recognition, and financial instruments.
  • Take ownership of the Group’s consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Group audit, ensuring a smooth, timely, and high-quality process.
  • Partner with local finance teams across Europe, supporting compliance, integration, and process development.

About You

  • Professional Fluency in French.
  • ACA or CA qualified accountant.
  • Trained within audit at a large or medium-sized accounting firm.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in Group reporting and consolidations within a multinational environment.
  • Alternatively, this role would also suit a Senior Manager from a top 20 practice with strong technical accounting and consolidation experience, looking to make their first move into industry.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of IFRS, including experience implementing new standards.
  • Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with senior stakeholders and finance teams across different countries.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, governance, and assurance.
