🚨 We're Growing... and We're Looking for an Exceptional Financial Controller! 🚨

Not every Financial Controller role is about keeping the lights on.

This one is about building, influencing, and driving growth.

At Express Concrete Ltd, we're entering an exciting new phase. As one of the fastest-growing divisions within the Cappagh Group, we are expanding our network of BSI-approved ready-mix concrete plants across London.

Now we're looking for a strategic, hands-on Financial Controller to join our leadership team at our Head Office in Wimbledon (SW17).

πŸ’₯ This isn't your average finance role.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Full ownership of month-end close, management accounts, and group reporting
  • Managing and improving financial processes across multiple entities
  • Leading credit control, cash flow management, and financial controls
  • Commercial analysis including fleet costs, raw material margins, and CapEx planning
  • Developing and leading our transactional finance team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
