Financial Controller (ACA/ACCA)
£75,000–£85,000 + Bonus
Hybrid, Central London
About the Business
A fast-growing creative business is looking to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller to work closely with the Finance Director. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role within an SME, offering exposure across financial reporting, commercial finance, business partnering and process improvement, while managing a small finance team.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the finance function, leading a team of two and playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end, management reporting and financial control
- Driving budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Producing insightful analysis, WIP reporting and revenue recognition
- Managing audits, VAT, statutory compliance and governance
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
- Improving finance processes, systems and reporting
The Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified, practice trained
- Experience in industry within a broad SME finance role as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
- Confident leading budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis
- Experience managing audits and a small finance team
- Proactive, hands-on and keen to make a visible impact
