Interim Financial Controller | Real Estate | 500- 550umbrella, with some flex for the right profile | London - hybrid working
Working with a leading real estate firm to hire an interim Financial Controller who can support in putting in place appropriate management reporting processes and templates for a complex Joint Venture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate accurate management reporting for all internal stakeholders and JV partners.
- Accountable for the preparation of all monthly management reports and analysis including planning, budgeting, forecasting, Business Unit reporting.
- Provide reconciliation and accurate variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Review financial transactions, profit and turnover, cash balances and other financial results to ensure compliance with internal policies / procedures, and accounting standards.
- Ensure data quality and integrity of output for monthly management reports, ad-hoc reports, and annual business plans.
- Identify and analyse any material exceptions to forecast / budget against actuals and prepare corresponding commentary for escalation to the Leadership Team.
- Review the financials for all new clients ensuring requirements for financial security are adequately reported to senior management.
- Maintain solid relationships with project teams and wider Finance community ensuring lines of communication are open and transparent.
