Financial Controller | 12-month FTC | London

We're supporting a PE-backed manufacturing company in their search for a Financial Controller (12-month FTC), based in London (2 days p/w). You will be part of the group finance function and play a key part in driving accounting policy development, financial reporting consistency, and governance across the group.

You will be responsible for technical accounting & policy, projects & transformation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development, documentation, and rollout of Group accounting policies, ensuring consistent application across all entities.
  • Lead delivery of strategic finance transformation initiatives, specifically the standardisation of functional reporting structures.
  • Identify and implement process, system, and reporting enhancements to drive efficiency, automation, and improved financial insight.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with a deep understanding of IFRS.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience (inventory, absorption, cost classification).
  • Proficiency with current financial software.
