As we continues to expand our international operations, we are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Financial Controller to lead accounting for our SSW entities across UK, Hong Kong, India, Germany, and France. This is a high-impact leadership role operating within a complex, multi-entity global environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, driving process optimization, and supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality reporting and insights. You will partner closely with U.S.-based Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams, gaining strong international exposure while influencing financial performance and governance across regions. What You’ll Do: Accounting & Financial Control Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting across all SSW entities, with primary responsibility for the UK entity Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting aligned with UK statutory requirements Prepare and review consolidated management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements International & Multi-Entity Management Oversee multi-entity accounting across UK, HK, India, Germany, and France Manage and review outputs from international third-party accounting providers, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality of reporting Drive standardization of processes across jurisdictions Audit, Tax & Compliance Lead UK statutory audits end-to-end and act as the primary point of contact for auditors Oversee tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax, in collaboration with local advisors Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and adherence to accounting policies Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management Partner with U.S. Corporate Controller and FP&A teams to - Analyze financial performance Explain variances against budget and forecast Support planning and decision-making Present financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders Systems & Process Transformation Play a key role in the implementation of a new global billing system, ensuring: Accurate invoice creation Appropriate revenue recognition (IFRS 15) VAT and AR process alignment Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control Maintain and improve financial systems including Sage 50 and other ERP platforms Team Leadership Lead and develop a UK-based accounting team (5 members) Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Coach and mentor team members to support their professional development Cash Flow & Treasury Own short- and long-term cash flow forecasting Support working capital management and liquidity planning Partner with leadership on funding and financial planning requirements What We're Looking For: A hands-on, detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, global environment Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and at a detailed level Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative leader who can influence across Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations A proactive problem-solver who continuously seeks to improve processes and systems Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in multi-entity and international accounting environments Strong ownership of: Statutory reporting Audit management Month-end close Hands-on experience across AP/AR, billing, cash management, and tax compliance Strong financial systems expertise (Sage, ERP systems, and reporting tools) Advanced Excel skills Why Join US Opportunity to work in a truly global, multi-entity finance environment Strong exposure to U.S. leadership and international stakeholders Play a key role in finance transformation and system implementation initiatives Join a growing organization with strong emphasis on collaboration, development, and impact Annual Salary Range: £100,000- £125,000 This role is a Hybrid role and will require onsite days a few days a month.
