Equifind are working with an exciting private equity business who are in the market for a qualified financial controller to help the team out for some short-term support.
This assignment should be for around 4-5 months with a view to commencing in September after the summer.
This company is a brand name in the private equity world so you will be working in a business with a stellar reputation.

Key duties and responsibilities for this financial controller position include: Oversee financial results for the corporate entities Review of the outsourced provider’s work Lead the month end reporting Explain key variances and trends to senior management Provide the annual budgeting and forecasting Management and development of the team Prepare the management fee calculations Balance sheet ownership Cashflow management Oversee audit process and be the main contact point when required Process improvement and automation Ad hoc projects as and when requested by senior management Take a lead role in projects relating to requests by departmental stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 6-10 years PQE Experience of working within private equity or asset management is highly preferable Working knowledge of multiple GAAPs Strong excel systems experience Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner. Experience of managing outsourced teams Strong communication & excel skills

With offices across the globe, you will be part of an international firm but still be part of a company that is entrepreneurial at heart.

The finance team is small and highly collaborative. You will work closely with the CFO a daily basis for all reporting requirements, but you will interact with other stakeholders on any specialist projects that come up within this timeframe.
Culture and collaboration are key components to the business’ success.
This is predominantly an office-based role in central London but you will work from home on Fridays.
Daily Rate/salary This splendid opportunity for a financial controller will pay £100k-£120k pro rata, but we will also be open to day rates of £500-£700 per day, depending on your experience and background.
As mentioned, we think this assignment will be for 4-5 months and ideally to start in September. Therefore, we will look at candidates on around 4 weeks’ notice period, who are interested in a mid-length assignment.
