- To be successful in this role you will be dynamic and proactive in your approach with a commercial mindset.
- The candidate will need to be adaptable with efficiencies being at the forefront of your thinking.
- Ideally this person would be a qualified finance professional. They should have worked within SME’s or Start-up environments. They should be comfortable interacting with the management team but equally able to ‘roll up their sleeves’ when needed.
- This really is a role that you can put your own stamp on. Importantly, the business is looking for a candidate to grow and progress with the company to help them achieve their strategic plan.

Reporting to a dynamic Finance Director, You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the rest of the senior management team and the business to drive financial performance and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the day to day running of the finance function:
- Month-End Close & Reporting: Lead month-end close.
- Oversee accounting operations: Managing all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Prepare financial statements: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage cash flow: Overseeing the management of cash flow, including tracking transactions and ensuring sufficient funds for operations.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts: Creating and managing budgets and financial forecasts to help the company achieve its financial goals.
- Maintain internal controls: Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Ensure compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic financial insights: Providing financial analysis and insights to help the company make informed decisions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities: Collaborating with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
