Financial Controller
Financial Controller | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Glasgow
HRC Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established, large-scale business to appoint a Financial Controller into their Glasgow-based finance team.
This is a key leadership role within a complex, high-performing environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting and play a critical role in driving best practice across the function.
The Role: Lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial and statutory reporting Take ownership of month-end and year-end processes Ensure compliance with current financial reporting standards and accounting regulations Act as a technical expert across the business, supporting on complex accounting matters Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business

About You: Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent) Significant experience operating within a large, complex company Strong technical accounting background, including financial and statutory accounts Up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP) Confident operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment Able to start working at short notice
