Financial Controller, Activation/Influencer Agency, part-time/flexi perm role
We have an exceptional role for an experienced FM/FC/HOF to own their island, and lead the financial stewardship of an exciting and scaling marketing agency.
No day will be the same, and you will be needed to own and tackle a real range of tasks, potentially some you were doing a few years ago.
The benefit being a role, and team you can build in your own mold with prospects to grow with the founder and agency as they do.
The role
This is a newly created, hands-on role to bring our day-to-day finance function in-house. You’ll run the engine room: keeping the books accurate and up to date in Xero, managing cash and supplier payments tightly, and ensuring everything is reconciled and month-end ready.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
