Financial Controller

We’re recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to join a high-growth, internationally scaling business on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established finance function, overseeing everything from monthly reporting and compliance to international operations and fundraising support. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing financial insight, driving accuracy and helping the business achieve its ambitious growth plans with confidence.

Financial Controller Role:

  • Owning the month-end close process end-to-end, including journals, working papers, reconciliations and three-statement reporting, while maintaining accurate cash flow visibility
  • Reviewing payroll and commissions across UK, US and Italian teams and supporting day-to-day finance operations, including sales invoicing, ARR, supplier renewals, client contract set-up and expense management through Spendesk
  • Leading regulatory, partner and tax reporting activities, including reporting to NatWest and the Bank of Lithuania and ensuring compliance across the UK, US and Lithuania
  • Supporting fundraising activities through responding to investor due diligence requests, maintaining momentum throughout the process and assisting with budgeting and financial modelling
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the annual audit process and maintaining strong financial controls and governance standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
