Financial Controller
Financial Controller – London, Permanent Position
We’re partnering with a leading global real estate organisation to appoint a commercially focused Financial Controller to join their London finance team on a permanent basis.
This is a broad and high-profile role within a dynamic international business, offering exposure across financial control, statutory reporting, audit management, and business partnering.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across multiple entities while supporting senior stakeholders and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day financial control activities across a complex group structure
- Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Overseeing statutory reporting and Companies House filings
- Managing relationships with external auditors, including Deloitte
- Supporting annual Group Audit and Half Year Audit processes
- Reviewing and preparing consolidated financial reporting under IFRS
- Ensuring robust financial controls, governance, and compliance processes are maintained
- Partnering with senior finance and operational stakeholders across the business
- Driving process improvement initiatives across reporting and control environments
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities where required

Requirements

- ACA / ACCA / CA qualified
- Strong financial control and technical accounting background
- Proven experience managing statutory reporting and external audits
- Strong IFRS knowledge and group reporting experience
- Experience operating within complex, multi-entity organisations
- Real estate, property, infrastructure, or asset-heavy sector experience preferred (highly desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
