Financial Controller | Multi-Site Consumer Products Group
£75,000 – £90,000 + bonus
London | Hybrid | 4 days office-based

We are partnering with a fast-growing, PE backed consumer products group that is scaling through a combination of organic growth and acquisition.

The business operates across multiple sites and is at an exciting stage of its journey, with recent funding secured and further growth planned. As the group continues to expand, they are looking to appoint a hands-on Group Financial Controller to build, improve and scale the finance function.

This is a senior, high-impact role working closely with the founders and wider leadership team. It would suit someone who enjoys operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable owning both the strategic and operational elements of finance.

The Role
The Group Financial Controller will take ownership of financial control, reporting, process improvement and finance integration across the group.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning financial control across the parent company and individual trading entities
  • Developing and improving accounting policies, reporting templates and internal processes
  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and controls within Xero
  • Delivering monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts
  • Preparing VAT returns and supporting wider compliance requirements
  • Supporting payroll processes alongside HR
  • Supporting acquisition activity and post-acquisition finance integration
  • Building budgets, forecasts and financial models
  • Monitoring cash flow and improving forecasting processes
  • Preparing board and investor reporting packs
  • Bringing structure, control and commercial insight to a scaling finance function

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
