Financial Controller
Financial Controller – European Real Estate Investment House
Salary: £85,000, excellent benefits & bonus potential Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1–2 days remote) Location: Office in Green Park
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, financial control, and performance analysis across a diversified Pan-European commercial real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will ensure the delivery of accurate financial information, robust governance, and strategic support to investment and asset management teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process across property, holding, and corporate entities
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting for the portfolio and corporate structure
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes across multiple European jurisdictions
- Produce lender, investor, and board reporting, including covenant monitoring and performance analysis
- Support acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, and corporate restructuring activities

Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Significant experience in commercial real estate, property investment, real estate private equity, or fund management
- Experience managing financial reporting across multiple European jurisdictions
- Knowledge of real estate operating structures, SPVs, debt financing, and property-level reporting
- Proven experience managing external service providers (auditors, tax advisors, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple deadlines
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, SAP, or similar real estate finance systems is advantageous
