Financial Controller | Global Marketing & Advertising | London | £75,000 to £85,000 plus bonus

We're working exclusively with a global marketing and creative services group — known for embedding dedicated, on-site teams within some of the world's biggest brands — to find a Financial Controller to own and modernise their regional month-end reporting.

This is a business that operates a genuinely distinctive model: rather than running a traditional agency, they build bespoke teams that sit inside client organisations, delivering everything from creative concepts to full production, backed by specialist global hubs. It's fast-moving, commercially varied, and gives finance real visibility into how the business actually operates day to day.

The role

You'll take ownership of the UK month-end close, working closely with management accountants across multiple entities to ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with Group deadlines. Beyond the close itself, this is a process-improvement role at heart — you'll be tasked with standardising and simplifying reporting across the region, cutting cycle times, and removing the manual bottlenecks that slow finance teams down.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
