Financial Controller Location: London (1 day per week) Environment: High-growth, multi-1000site Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 + bonus DN1006
Overview Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, multi-site business to appoint a commercially focused Financial Controller. With a rapidly expanding footprint, this role will take ownership of financial control, ensuring robust processes, accurate reporting, and scalability as the business continues to grow.
The Role Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead financial operations, driving consistency, control, and insight across a growing and operationally complex business. Key responsibilities include: Ownership of month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Consolidation of financials with clear performance and variance analysis Embedding robust financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks Business partnering with operational and site-level leadership Managing and developing a central finance team Leading audit and statutory reporting requirements Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management Driving continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and processes to support scale

Candidate Profile Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role Background in a high-growth / scaling business (essential) Strong grounding in financial control, reporting, and process improvement Experience in a multi-site environment is advantageous but not essential Track record of building and improving finance processes in a growing business Commercially minded with strong stakeholder partnering capability Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
