Our client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead a talented finance team and play a key role in driving business performance, financial control, and sustainable growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants real visibility and impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and developing a finance team of four
- Owning month-end, year-end, management reporting, and audit processes
- Delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Strengthening financial controls, governance, and compliance across UK and US operations
- Driving process improvements, automation, and ERP enhancements
- Managing cash flow, AP, AR, consolidations, tax, and statutory reporting activities

What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- 4–5 years' post-qualified experience
- Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent commercial awareness
- Experience in retail, luxury, founder-led, or PE-backed businesses would be highly advantageous
